SHORT DAYS

"Short Days" è un festival internazionale di cortometraggi attivo in diverse città italiane dal 2015. Mantenendo la sua natura di proiezione mensile, dal 2018 "Short Days" è diventato un festival che ha l'obiettivo di portare nelle sale cinematografiche un selezione dei cortometraggi indipendenti. Ogni mese la selezione è affidata a un nuovo curatore.

Tafano ha curato un'edizione mensile di Short Days dal titolo "Quello sguardo dall'alto" (20-23 maggio 2021), selezionando quattro cortometraggi legati al tema della "sorveglianza". In linea con la ricerca su questo tema (iniziata con il cortometraggio "un/Hook" e seguita dal saggio "Lo sguardo assordante"), Antonio Di Biase e Davide Perego hanno scelto quattro cortometraggi che presentano diversi punti di vista sulla cosiddetta "società della sorveglianza".

"Short Days” is an international IMDB Qualifying short film festival that has been active in several italian cities since 2015. Keeping its nature of monthly screening, since 2018 “Short Days” has become a festival that has the goal of screening in cinema venues a selection of independent short films. Every month a new curator, selected among established and award winning filmmakers, make the selection.

Tafano has curated one monthly edition of "Short Days" called "That look from above" (20-23 may 2021), selecting four shortfilms connected by the theme of "surveillance". In consistent with the research on this topic (started with the short film "un/Hook" and followed by the text "The deafening gaze"), Antonio Di Biase and Davide Perego have chosen four recent short-films that show different reflections on the so-called "Surveillance Society".
